1. Overview and Scope

This Privacy Policy specifically applies to the Loco Digital Signage Player TV application (the "TV App") designed for Android TV, Fire TV, Google TV, and compatible smart television platforms.

The TV App functions solely as a media display receiver. It is designed to display images, video loops, slideshows, and menu boards sent directly from the Loco mobile controller app.


2. Zero Collection of Personal Information

We strongly believe in privacy by design. The TV App does not collect, capture, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

  • No Registration or Account Login: You do not need to create an account, register, or enter any credentials (like name, email, or password) to use the TV App.
  • No Social Logins: The TV App does not support or connect to any social sign-in providers (such as Google or Apple).
  • No Financial/Billing Data: The TV App does not process transactions or handle any subscription or billing data.

3. How Content is Handled

The TV App receives content exclusively from your Loco mobile controller app.

  • Local WiFi Transfer: All media files (images, slides, and video loops) are transferred locally from your mobile controller device to the TV App via your local WiFi network (LAN).
  • No Cloud Storage: Media files are not uploaded to our servers or any cloud platform.
  • Mirroring & Rendering: The TV App simply receives these media streams and renders them locally on your TV screen.

4. Device Permissions and Rationale

To operate as a local signage receiver, the TV App requires the following standard system permissions:

  • Local Network Access (LAN / WiFi): Essential to discover, connect, and pair with the mobile controller app over the local network.
  • Storage Access (Caching): Used solely to store/cache the received media assets on the TV's internal storage. This caching ensures uninterrupted and smooth offline playback of your slides and videos even if the WiFi connection fluctuates.

5. Third-Party Services and Analytics

The TV App does not include any third-party tracking, advertising, analytics SDKs, or social plugins. No information about your TV usage, display schedule, or network setup is transmitted to third parties or to us.
